La Marzocco Roasters Alley at the NZ Coffee Festival 2020

November 25, 2019 in New Zealand

We need you!

We are so stoked to be bringing back one of the New Zealand Coffee Festival’s previous highlights in 2020, but don’t take our word for it. Here is what some previous participants had to say…

“The Roaster’s Alley was a brilliant way to get involved in the New Zealand Coffee Festival. Having the equipment and space provided by LM meant a stress-free and cost effective setup, not to mention the Linea Mini pouring beautiful shots to help showcase our blends. Great to be alongside some other exceptional roasters with such a good buzz created by both vendors and attendees.”
– Roasters Alley participant
“The Roaster alley really helped us create deeper networks within the Auckland market and as a smaller roaster the collaboration with LM lifted our stature amongst the roasting community and supported sales growth in the region. With sales on the day, we broke even on the experience, but a local roaster would probably make more of a return. The Linea Mini was a dream to use and stirred some excitement with the team and helped build company knowledge of high-end domestic espresso equipment.”

“Thanks to La Marzocco, we managed to get our name out there with minimal cost and hassle. A big part of a small coffee company is about sharing what you do, and basically letting the country know you exist. The coffee festival is a great way to get a big jump forward.”

What is Roasters Alley?

The goal of the alley is to bring roasters from all over the country together at the festival to create a true sense of community, so the public can experience your coffee and hear your story first hand from you.

We know how busy it is being a small business, and we hope that by creating this roasters alley, we are making it easier for you to be part of the day without a large investment of your time and money.

There will be six spots available in 2020 and selection criteria for applicants is simple:

  1. that you have not exhibited at NZCF before or
  2. participated in the roasters alley.

If you’re interested simply reach out and let us know.

There is a great opportunity to sell retail coffee and merchandise to cover cost, though ideally, we would like the coffee served to be free. Cost for the two days is $500.00 (Inc GST) which contributes to the infrastructure of your stall to be ready for you.

You will require at least one barista on Friday 20th & Saturday 21st of March at The Cloud.

We hope you’re interested in partnering with us for the festival next year and if this is something you’d be keen to be a part of, please let us know ASAP.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or ideas.
