la marzocco new zealand

company profile

Founded in 1927 by Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi, La Marzocco had its beginnings in Florence, Italy, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and home to such geniuses as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Brunelleschi who created some of the most celebrated works of art in the world. It seems only fitting that La Marzocco would earn a world-renowned reputation for making beautiful, high quality, superbly crafted and uniquely designed espresso machines, with great attention to detail. We established our New Zealand office in back 2014. La Marzocco prides itself in a strong company culture, which — while remaining anchored to our heritage — encourages the pursuit of quality, excellence, and innovation through a trusting family atmosphere.

How We Operate

La Marzocco New Zealand, a branch office of La Marzocco, distributes high quality coffee machines, espresso equipment, and genuine parts throughout Aotearoa. The sales team is based both in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland and Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington. The Auckland Headquarters is the home of our showroom, technical workshop and the offices. Our growth has been tied to our strong partnerships with outstanding leaders in the coffee industry and our machines have supported the advancement of quality in coffee and service throughout New Zealand. Today, young entrepreneurs have come up through the industry working on our equipment and continue to turn to our machines as they design and build out their own new coffee businesses. La Marzocco New Zealand also engages events across the country to support, educate, connect with, and inspire the coffee community.

The facility

The showroom and technical workshop are located in Parnell, an Auckland suburb in the central city. The workshop is where we thoroughly bench test each and every machine that arrives from our factory in Florence. It’s also where we carry out our refurbishment work. We stock and ship all our La Marzocco genuine spare parts from here. You’re welcome to stop in and pick up your order during business hours, or we’ll ship to you.
