The Accademia Del Caffé Espresso is nestled in the hilltops of Florence. In the village of Pian di San Bartolo, in the very same building that was once the home to the company’s factory from 1959 to 2009. The so-called “Officina” or Workshop, was managed by the company’s founding fathers, Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi, and then by Piero, alongside a small group of brilliant craftsmen.
Today, the space offers a multitude of opportunities and inclusive platforms. To connect, educate, research, and champion the international coffee community towards a sustainable future for espresso coffee.
We recently shared a sneak peek of the renovated space with our partners and the press. You can read some of their first impressions in international blogs and publications such as Sprudge , Bean Scene, Comunicaffe , and Coffee T&I.
Accademia will officially open its doors in March 2020. In the meantime, you can follow their journey on Instagram so you don’t miss a beat.
Visiting the Accademia will give you and in-depth view of how La Marzocco came to be. And learn the journey of how the La Marzocco Factory transformed from the workshop to the Accademia.
