We recently hosted the Meadow Fresh NZ Latte Art Championship – 2020 at our La Marzocco showroom and workshop in Parnell. The event showcased the artistic expression of some of the best latte artists from around the country. La Marzocco was also the proud machine sponsor of the event and competitors made their creations using the Linea Mini, a kitchen-sized version of the Linea Classic.
Upstairs in the showroom, we had the competition space which was the place to be if you wanted to be in the middle of all of the action, cheering on your favourite latte artists.
Downstairs offered a more relaxed vibe with screens streaming the competition while guests refuelled at the Atomic Coffee Bar, grabbed a make-your-own bagel with some decadent chocolate milk or enjoyed a tasty American hotdog for lunch from Good Dog Bad Dog.
Chowing down wasn’t the only thing on the agenda in our workshop. Meadow Fresh offered a seminar on Milk Physics and a chance to try your hand a latte art at their Pour Like a Pro station. Loveramics was also there showcasing the stylish, contemporary designs of their latest range of ceramics.
For those who wanted to grab a quiet, sunny moment in the park, there were bean bags and games for all to enjoy, as well as an appearance from our special guest, Daisy the cow.
Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the event and we’d like to congratulate all of the competitors including third place winner, Leo Li from Newbie Cafe, runner up, Dennis Yu-Hsin Hsueh from Grey St Kitchen, and the 2020 NZ Latte Champion, Hoony Chae from Mojo Coffee.
